  • Angela is the inventor of Tic Tac Pro! - an advanced tic-tac-toe board game for 2 or 4 people that adds the element of chance, eliminates predictability and decreases the possibility of the game ending in a draw. Tic Tac Pro! offers many ways to play from beginner to pros.

Through her company, Re-Imagine Games, Angela brings a perspective to the board game industry that inspires a new generation of people to utilize the power of board games to build new skills and bring people together in the name of fun.

Mattel describes Tic-Tac-Pro! as “…a very clever and compelling take on the classic tic tac toe game – sincerely, one of the best adaptations of a classic game that we’ve seen!” Learn more.

  • A former educator, Angela is the author of The Pretty Poodle - a work of juvenile historical fiction that pays tribute to Mary Lou Allison Gardner Little, the primary founder of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority - an international, historically Black, women's organization founded in 1922 that now has over 100,000 members of all races. The book tells the tale of a young girl named Mary who learns valuable lessons as a child that inspire her historic accomplishments later in life. The fully illustrated, hardcover publication promotes cultural appreciation, literacy, and overall academic achievement in children in grades 3 through 6.

Clever references to the history of Sigma Gamma Rho are woven into the story and upon its publication in 2014, Sigma Gamma Rho became the first NPHC (D9) organization to have the life of its primary founder honored in a children’s publication. The Pretty Poodle is permanently placed in the Indianapolis Special Collections Room at the Indianapolis Public Library in Indiana, the city in which Sigma Gamma Rho was founded.

Purchase includes The Pretty Poodle Literacy Supplement, a downloadable workbook in PDF format that contains reading and writing activities related to the story.

Through author visits, Angela has been able to motivate students and help them connect to the story while strengthening their reading comprehension skills. Learn more.
